AT&T reduces stake in America Movil
AT&T has reduced its stake in Latin American carrier America Movil. According to a SEC filing, AT&T sold 540 million shares in America Movil in the open market in May and early June. The company said in a statement to Bloomberg that the share sale is part of efforts to maintain its stake at about 9 percent and compensate for America Movil's recent share buyback programme. The sale of the shares is worth about USD 564 million.

AT&T reports strong customer growth in Q2

AT&T reported strong customer additions in the second quarter. AT&T has announced it has made a contribution of AT&T Wi-Fi service and 1,500 tablets to the Harlem Children's Zone Promise Academy School and Community Centre.
