Base renews postpaid plans with more data
Belgian mobile operator Base announced a refresh of its postpaid plans, as part of its new 'Go Mobile' campaign. The new plans increase data allowances, in response to growing data usage over the 4G network, Base said. Customers on 4G now use an average 1 GB per month, which is now the minimum amount offered.

The new plans Base 15, Base 25, Base 39 and Base 59 cost respectively EUR 15, 25, 39 and 59 per month. All come with unlimited SMS and 1 GB online storage on the Base Cloud. The basic plan Base 15 comes with unlimited on-net calls, 120 minutes to other networks and 1 GB per month. Base 25 increases this to 300 minutes and 3 GB, while Base 39 and Base 59 come with unlimited calls and respectively 5 and 10 GB data per month. Base 59 also includes 600 minutes, SMS or MB for roaming in the EU.

A similar offer is available for business users, under the names Pro Start, Pro Connect, Pro Travel and Pro Travel XL. Pro Start costs EUR 10 per month for 200 minutes, 1 GB and unlimited SMS. Pro Connect comes with unlimited calls and SMS and 5 GB for EUR 30 per month. Pro Travel increases the data to 10 GB and offers 600 units for use in the EU, at a cost of EUR 50 per month. Pro Travel XL at EUR 100 per month includes 3 GB and unlimited SMS and calls, all for use throughout the EU. The business prices exclude VAT, and all plans are subject to a fair-use policy. All but the cheapest business plans also come with 5GB online storage.
