Belgacom expands LTE to 5 cities
Belgacom announced the expansion of its LTE network to another five cities: Antwerp, Ghent, Leuven, Liege and Namur. The Belgain operator started testing the services last year in Hasselt, Mons and Wavre as well as the Hassrode industrial park, which houses the Brussels university hospital. The operator aims to open the LTE network, which uses the 1800MHz band, to all customers by the end of this year.
