BT to raise prices from April, start charging for BT Sport
BT has started informing customers of planned price increases from April. Standard broadband will increase by GBP 2 per month, and the faster Infinity service will rise by GBP 2.50. In addition, the unlimited calls plan rises by 49 pence to GBP 8.99 per month, and the evening and weekend call plans goes up by 30p to GBP 3.80. Calls will cost 1 pence more per minute, and the set-up fee rises by 2 pence to GBP 0.21.  

BT has also dropped the offer of free BT Sport for its TV customers and will charge GBP 3.50 for the sports prorgamming from August. Non-BT customers taking BT Sport over Sky boxes will pay GBP 1 more.
