
Canal+ Poland has submitted a prospectus on a share emission to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority KFN, reports Wirtualnemedia.pl. The company said that its minority shareholders TVN Media and Liberty Global will decide on the eventual IPO.
No decision on the eventual listing has been taken yet, and the situation will depend on numerous factors, according to a statement from Canal+ Poland.
According to the prospectus, TVN Media and Liberty Global would sell all their shares, and Canal+ would remain the majority shareholder. French company Canal+ Group, controlled by Vivendi, owns a 51 percent stake in Canal+ Poland, TVN Media owns around 32 percent of shares, and the stake of Liberty Global totals approximately 17 percent.
