China Mobile will accept pre-orders for iPhones in Shanghai from 12 December. The Wall Street Journal reports that an advertisement on China Mobile's website is inviting customers to pre-order the Apple iPhone 5s, Samsung smartphones, and Sony smartphones that support the company's 4G mobile network. A company representative told the paper that the pre-ordering will open on 12 December for Shanghai customers and that 4G services will be provided from 18 December. China Mobile is still preparing a pricing plan for the new iPhones. Recently, the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple and China Mobile had reached a deal on selling iPhones, citing unnamed sources. However, China Mobile later denied the report.
