Com Hem has formally begun offering mobile telephony, following a soft launch in January. The fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) follows Com Hem's merger with Tele2 Sweden. Introductory offers include unlimited calls, texts and data from SEK 99 per month for three months, and double data for existing Com Hem customers who sign up.
The operator said Com Hem customers can now obtain full connectivity both inside and outside their homes, all from one provider on one bill, as the mobile service complements its television and fixed line broadband portfolio.
Com Hem’s mobile telephony is now available to order through the website and customer services, and it will be launched at retailers during the second quarter of 2019.
After the first three months' trial at SEK 99 per month, it will cost SEK 199 monthly for a mobile package providing 5 GB of internet service for use in Sweden, the EU and EEA, alongside unlimited calls and texts in Sweden, the EU and EEA. The 10 GB package will cost SEK 249, and the 20 GB one will cost SEK 299. A package with unlimited will cost SEK 499 but only 30 GB monthly of this can be used when roaming in the EU/EEA.
