Deutsche Telekom said that it has launched a new set of tariffs for business customers operating the Internet of Things. The tariffs can be used in the 28 countries of the European Union and carry only a one-off fixed price without a minimum contract period.
The Business Smart Connect LPWA tariff S with 6 MB of data costs EUR 7.95, the L with 16 MB costs EUR 9.95 and the L with 30 MB costs EUR 11.95. The tariffs include 250 texts to send or receive. Customers can also top up the tariffs. Topping up 3 MB costs EUR 3.98 for the S, 7.95 MB costs EUR 4.98 with the M plan, and 15 MB is EUR 5.98 for the tariff L.
The Business Smart Connect M2M tariff S with 300 MB costs EUR 8.95, the M with 1000 MB costs EUR 16.95 and the L with 3000 MB costs EUR 29.95. The tariffs include 250 texts to send or receive. Topping up 150 MB for the S plan costs EUR 4.48, 500 MB for the M EUR 8.48 and 1500 MB for the L EUR 14.98
Customers can order the SIM cards for the respective rates and for the corresponding networks in order to subscribe. Deutsche Telekom also offers roaming on the NB-IoT networks of its national subsidiaries in Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Greece.
