Dialog maintains guidance amid worries of Apple problems
Dialog Semiconductor said it expects to meet expectations for its Q1 and full-year results. The company issued the statement after a drop in its share price on 11 April, which was reportedly due to an analyst report saying the company was set to lose business from Apple.

Dialog said it "knows of no business reason for this movement" and had no new information on the design cycle of its main customers.

According to Reuters, Bankhaus Lampe reduced its rating on Dialog to "sell" from "hold". The analyst said that Apple was working on its own battery-saving chip for the iPhone that could replace Dialog's power management integrated circuits as early as 2019.
