DT talks to Comcast on T-Mobile sale - report
Deutsche Telekom is also in talks with cable operator Comcast on the possible sale of T-Mobile US, reports Germany's Manager Magazin, citing people familiar with the matter. This follows earlier reports that the German operator was taking to Dish Network on a sale of the fourth-largest mobile operator in the US.

According to the latest report, DT may favour a Comcast deal, as Comcast is financially stronger and could acquire the full company without the need for a stock swap, something Dish has pushed for. Comcast is not yet active in the mobile market, while Dish has significant spectrum assets already. Nevertheless Comcast has faced regulatory problems in the past due to its strong position in the broadband and TV markets, most notably in the FCC's recent blocking of its bid for Time Warner Cable and questions about whether it has met the concessions agreed when it acquired NBCUniversal.
