Games developer Electronic Arts is launching an online subscription service. Origin Access, an extension of its Origin online store, offers unlimited access to a collection of PC games for USD 4.99 a month. The service launches with 15 games, including Battlefield 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Sims 3, and This War of Mine, and more titles from EA and independent developers will be added over time. In addition to the game downloads, subscribers will get early access to new releases from EA and a 10 percent discount on full game and content purchases.
