MWC2013 – De GSM Accociation heeft de jaarlijkse Global Mobile Awards uitgereikt. Samsung won de titel van Producent van het Jaar en Awards voor de Galaxy S III smartphone en de Galaxy Camera, maar ook voor de 4G Smart LTE netwerktechnologie. De Nokia Asha 305 werd verkozen tot beste feature phone, de Nexus 7 van Google en Asus tot beste tablet. De prijzen voor apps gingen onder meer naar Facebook, Evernote en naar een universele vertaler van NTT DoCoMo.
