HTC reports net loss of TWD 4.48 billion in Q3
HTC has reported unaudited quarterly revenue of TWD 21.40 billion for the fiscal 2015 third quarter ended 30 September. Operating loss was TWD 4.94 billion. Net loss before tax amounted to TWD 4.49 billion, while net loss after tax stood at TWD 4.48 billion. This compares to a net profit ofTWD 640 million for the third quarter of 2014. EPS were negative at TWD 5.41 for the quarter ended 30 September 2015.

HTC revenues recover in October

Smartphone maker HTC reported a recovery in revenues in October, up 26 percent from September to TWD 8.95 billion and its second consecutive monthly growth. The figure was still down 43.2 percent from October 2014. In the first 10 months of the year, revenues totaled TWD 104.88 billion, down 32.7 percent from the year-earlier period.

HTC has refrained from giving an outlook for its fourth-quarter results. In a presentation on the Q3 figures, the smartphone maker did not provide its usual guidance for the current quarter. HTC said Q3 results were better than expected, despite soft demand at the high end of the market. The restructuring programme underway resulted in a drop in operating expenses, while R&D spending was maintained. The company's revenues fell to TWD 21.4 billion from TWD 41.9 billion a year ago, in line with its outlook fo

HTC revenues fall 53% in August

HTC announced revenues of TWD 6.89 billion for August, down 7 percent from July and 53 percent lower year-on-year. In the first eight months of this year, the smartphone marker's revenues totaled TWD 88.83 billion, down 28 percent from the same period in 2014. For the third quarter, the company forecasts sales of TWD 19-22 billion compared to TWD 41.9 billion a year earlier.

HTC posts net profit of TWD 640 mln in Q3

Smartphone manufacturer HTC posted net operating profit of TWD 160 million and net profit of TWD 640 million for the third quarter of 2014, Digitimes reports. HTC also reported consolidated revenues of TWD 16.718 billion for September rising 14.97 percent sequentially but slipping 7.90 percent year-on-year. Revenues for the January-September period reached TWD 140.045 billion, dropping 12.75 percent year on year.
