Huawei introduces 7-inch MediaPad tablet
Chinese telecommunications equipment maker Huawei has unveiled a 7-inch tablet. The MediaPad is powered by Qualcomm's dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and runs on Android 3.2. The device is 10.5mm thick and weighs 390g and comes with a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with HD video recording capabilities. It supports HSPA+ up to 14.4Mbps and Wi-Fi 802.11n. Huawei previously launched its 7-inch tablet Ideos S7 and its updated version S7 slim. The MediaPad is on display at CommunicAsia in Singapore and is expected to hit the market in the coming months.
