LG Electronics reported higher third-quarter results in its preliminary report. Revenues are expected to grow 15.2 percent year-on-year and 4.6 percent quarter-on-quarter at nearly KRW 15.22 trillion, and the operating profit is expected to jump 82.2 percent year-on-year to KRW 516.1 billion. However, quarter-on-quarter, operating income is expected to plunge 22.3 percent from 664 billion in the second quarter of 2017.
LG Electronics will announce its final earnings results, including net profit and details regarding each division, later this month.
