LG Electronics released some preliminary figures for the fourth quarter and full-year of 2018. For the quarter, revenues for the quarter reached nearly KRW 15.8 trillion, an improvement from the 15.43 trillion reported in the previous quarter, and the 16.8 trillion recorded the year before. The operating profit however sank to KRW 75.3 billion from 749 billion sequentially and 367 billion year-on-year.
For the full year, revenues amounted to almost KRW 61.3 trillion, passing KRW 60 trillion for the second year in a row. The operating profit went to KRW 2.7 trillion, up 9.5 percent from the year before.
