LG unveils Optimus quad-core processor smartphone
LG has unveiled the Optimus 4X HD, a quad-core processor smartphone. The LG Optimus 4X HD features Nvidia's 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor with a 4.7-inch HD IPS display, 16 GB eMMC memory and 1 GB LP DDR2. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Optimus 4X HD also boasts an 8-megapixel BSI (Backside Illumination) sensor rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera with LED flash.

LG launches Optimus L5, 4X HD smartphones in Europe

LG has launched two new smartphones in Europe. The Optimus 4X HD is the company's first quad-core phone and was first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in February. German customers will be the first to receive the Optimus 4X HD in June, followed by the Netherlands, Sweden, UK and Italy. LG profits improve in Q1, despite further sales drop

LG Electronics reported a continued fall in revenues in the first quarter, but improved its profits thanks to cost reductions and a better product mix. The Korean company posted sales of KRW 12.23 trillion, down 7.1 percent from a year earlier, while operating profit jumped to KRW 448 billion from KRW 131 billion. LG Electronics to unveil Optimus 3D Max smartphone

LG Electronics will unveil the Optimus 3D Max smartphone at the 2012 Mobile World Congress (MWC). LG Optimus 3D Max is a smartphone in both 2D and 3D mode. LG Tag+ offers advanced NFC capacities. One of its gains is automatic setting changes which are possible by creating predefined tags that are customised to certain modes such as car-mode, office-mode or sleep-mode. LG introduces Optimus LTE Tag

LG Electroncis has unveiled the Optimus LTE Tag for the Korean market. The Optimus LTE Tag gets its name from a new feature, LG Tag+, which uses NFC (Near Field Communication) to communicate with special stickers or "tags". The phone runs on Android 2.3 and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.
