
CK Hutchison, whose 3 Group recently reported a solid set of full year results, has announced the retirement of its chairman Li Ka-shing from 10 May, the date of the company’s AGM. Li, who has led the CK Group as chairman for the past 46 years, will stay on as senior advisor. He will be succeeded by his son Li Tzar Kuoi, Victor, who has been at the CK Group for 33 years. The new chairman will also continue in his role as Group co-managing director.
CK Hutchison said the company will continue on its course of “To advance while maintaining stability”. There will be no big changes.
