Microsoft will be announcing a major reorganisation of the company on 5 July, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported, adding that while the number of layoffs is unclear, they will hit staff in offices around the world.. The company will reorganize its global sales group and lay off workers in order to streamline and sharpen its focus on selling cloud-computing services, the Wall Street Journal said, citing sources familiar with the plans.
