O2 Czech Republic prepares infrastructure separation
O2 Czech Republic has proceeded to completion of a feasibility study of the separation of its fixed and mobile telecommunications infrastructure into a separate entity. This would provide wholesale services to other telecommunications companies in the market, in the form of a spin-off into a new company. The company also resolved to prepare the formal steps leading to such a separation. The operator first said in August 2014 it was considering such a plan.
