Orange Business Services loses CEO Helmut Reisinger

Helmut Reisinger has resigned from his position as CEO of Orange Business Services (OBS) to pursue other professional opportunities outside the telecom group. Aliette Mousnier-Lompre, currently senior VP of operations and customer service at the Orange subsidiary, has been appointed interim CEO starting on 17 January, when the resignation takes effect.

Reisinger joined OBS in 2007 and has been serving as CEO since May 2018.

Orange has promoted Jerome Henique as CEO of the Middle East and Africa operations, giving him a seat on the group's executive committee. Orange Business Services (OBS) has secured a contract for a unified global communications platform that aims to improve collaboration across the operations of snack-food group Mondelez. This digital transformation project covers Mondelez's offices, factories, warehouses, and contact centre agents across 80 countries, bringing all-digital systems to 80,000 employees. Mondelez's legacy PBX voice configuration will be entirely replaced by a platform based on Microsoft Teams and integrating related capabilities

Palo Alto Networks names Reisinger to CEO for EMEA, Latam

Palo Alto Networks appointed Helmut Reisinger to the position of CEO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America (Latam). Reisinger will work closely with Palo Alto Networks' President BJ Jenkins to drive the acceleration of the company's global growth strategy, and will join CEO and Chairman Nikesh Arora's management team.

ArcelorMittal France, Orange Business Services and Ericsson announced the launch of 5G Steel to test 4G/5G connectivity at ArcelorMittal's industrial sites in France over the next three years. Orange Business Services was selected by Safran Aircraft Engines to equip two key production sites with its smart tracking IoT platform, which is based on an ecosystem of partners specialised in geolocation technologies in industrial settings. Reisinger replaces Bonhomme as Orange Business Services CEO

Helmut Reisinger has become the new CEO of Orange Business Services (OBS), replacing Thierry Bonhomme due to retire later this year. Reisinger's promotion was first announced in early March, as part of wider reorganisation within Orange's executive team. He joined OBS in 2007 and most recently held the position of executive vice president, responsible for all international enterprise business activities outside France.
