Orange introduces Deezer Premium bundles in Africa
Orange and Deezer have launched the Deezer Premium music streaming service bundled with Orange mobile subscriptions in Cote d'Ivoire and Mauritius. Orange group director of music Laurence LeNy said that the operator's customers will soon have access to the premium music service in other African and Middle Eastern countries. Deezer Premium+ provides access to 18 million tracks and to favourite albums and artists on PC, mobile, music player, IPTV, tablets, etc. Users can listen in off-line mode.

Deezer raises EUR 100 million - report

French streaming music company Deezer has raised EUR 100 million, mainly from Warner Music parent company Access Industries, Le Figaro reports. A few million euros were invested by existing backer Idinvest, but France Telecom-Orange did not take part in the capital increase, diluting its share in Deezer from 11 percent to 8-9 percent. France Telecom is also looking for a partner to buy a stake in French video portal Dailymotion, according to the report.
