Orange has announced a partnership with Move Capital, part of the Kepler Cheuvreux group. The partnership sis expected to help its B2B subsidiary Orange Business Services to forge closer ties within the European technology sector.
Under the deal, holding company Orange Digital Investment has become an investor in the Move Capital I venture capital fund, focused on Europe's B2B tech ecosystem (IoT, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cyber security, cloud and industry 4.0). Orange said that the move fits with the ambition to become a stakeholder in a good selection of promising European businesses, beyond the expected financial return of the fund.
The amount of its investment in the fund was not disclosed.
