
The GSA reports that the total number of LTE devices on the market increased by 607 since February. The 1,800 MHz band remains the most common radio frequency supported, available on 1,543 devices, followed by the 2.6 GHz band (1,381 products) and the 2.1 GHz band (1,185). The APT700 band, increasingly being adopted in Asia and Latin America, was also supported on 139 devices in June, and over a third (1,210) of LTE devices also support LTD-TDD, up from 28 percent of all terminals in July 2014. A much smaller number of devices was available for VoLTE, at 219 in June, of which 198 were smartphones.
