Rijksmuseum puts entire collection on Google

Google has published images of 200,000 artworks from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, as part of the Google Arts & Culture project. Works from the Dutch museum are also featured on Google street maps and virtual reality displays, and digital theme exhibitions incorporate works from the Rijksmuseum, such as an overview of paintings by Vermeer from around the world. Google said the Rijksmuseum is the first in the world to agree to display its entire collection through Google Arts & Culture.
