RIM buys app store developer Cellmania
California-based Cellmania, which powers mobile ecosystems for mobile operators, infrastructure providers and content owners, has been acquired by Research in Motion (RIM). In a notice on its website, Cellmania said that it would continue to bring its expertise in application storefront development to the BlackBerry platform. RIM has yet to confirm the acquisition.
