Rovio has priced its initial public offering of shares at the top of its indicated price range, at EUR 11.50 per share, giving the maker of the 'Angry Birds' game a market capitalization of EUR 896 million. Rovio said demand for the shares was "very strong", and the subscription period was closed a day earlier than planned.
Rovio is selling 2.61 million new shares, and its existing shareholders are selling 34.31 million. Trading in the shares is expected to start on the Nasdaq Helsinki market on 29 September.
