Samsung forecasts Q2 operating profit of KRW 6.7 trln
Samsung Electronics expects to report second quarter sales or KRW 47 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 6.7 trillion. In Q2 2011, Samsung reported sales of KRW 39.44 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 3.75 trillion.

Samsung Electronics saw its second-quarter net profit grow 48 percent year-on-year to KRW 5.19 trillion. The company's sales rose 21 percent year-on-year to KRW 47.60 trillion, and operating profit surged 79 percent to KRW 6.72 trillion. Samsung Electronics verwacht een kwartaalomzet van 47 biljoen Koreaanse won (33,3 miljard euro) en een operationele winst van 6,7 biljoen won (4,8 miljard euro).
