
Samsung introduces 3 new Bada phones

Samsung is unveiling three new phones running its Bada mobile operating system at the Ifa trade show in Berlin. The Wave 3, Wave M and Wave Y all run Bada 2.0, which offers features such as multi-tasking, WiFi Direct, voice recognition and NFC. The Wave 3 features a 4-inch Amoled screen, 1.4GHz processor and 5-megapixel camera. The Wave M comes with a 3.65-inch HVGA screen and is aimed at social network users. The Wave Y is a low-end handset with a 3.2-inch screen, targeted at first-time smartphone users. All three will come with Samsung's new instant messaging service ChatOn, as well as access to Samsung Apps, its app store with around 30,000 applications. The phones will launch in the fourth quarter for recommended prices of respectively EUR 399, 249 and 159.
