Samsung Electronics said it expanding Samsung Pay to Sweden, the UAE, Hong Kong and Switzerland. Samsung Pay will integrate loyalty and membership cards in Sweden and the UAE. In Switzerland, pre-paid cards will also be supported, allowing users to pay by their preferred cards as well as the normal credit and debit options.
Samsung is introducing Samsung Pay on the Gear S3 in three more markets. From April, Samsung Pay will be supported on the Gear S3 in Russia, Sweden and the UAE, as well as the US, Singapore and Australia.
With the availability of the Galaxy S8 and S8+, users will have exclusive ability to take advantage of several new features with Samsung Pay. On top of existing authentication methods, they can use iris scanning to access Samsung Pay, for security and convenience.
