
Samsung has unveiled its latest smartphone in the Galaxy A range: the Galaxy A70. The phone sports a stylish design, large infinity display, a triple camera and a powerful battery, and is available in Blue, Black, White and Coral. Samsung said it will hold ‘A Galaxy Event’ across three different continents on 10 April.
Biggest screen
The Galaxy A70 features a 6.7 inch Infinity-U display, with the biggest screen in the Galaxy A portfolio to date. The company gave it an ergonomic design and a 20:9 display ratio for immersive viewing experience and an optimal grip.
Triple camera and strong battery
The triple camera comes with a 32MP high-resolution front and rear lens, a depth and an 8MP ultra wide lens. It also has a Scene Optimizer that can recognise and intuitively enhance up to 20 scenes, and Flaw Detection, which automatically identifies glitches before the shot is taken. The Galaxy A70 comes with a 4,500 mAH battery and Super-Fast Charging at 25W.
Samsung said the phone also has a new intuitive positioning for its on-screen fingerprint scanner, so that people can connect without needing to reposition their grip. Paired with Samsung Pass, people can sign into websites and apps using biometric authentication. The phone uses Samsung Knox, the company’s defense-grade security platform designed to protect from chipset to software.One UI
Finally, the phone sports Samsung’s One UI platform, including One Handed Navigation and Night Mode. The A70 also includes Samsung Health, Samsung Pay*, Bixby, and other functions.
