
Secusmart and Vodafone develop encryption app

Encryption specialist Secusmart has announced plans to develop an app to encrypt telephones in cooperation with Vodafone, heise.de reports. Secusmart already sells the end-to-end encryption software Secusuite, which is used in the Blackberry version for federal agencies and ministries. The app is supposed to be launched in January for business clients for a monthly fee. Deutsche Telekom already offers encryption products for business clients, such as Android and iOS apps. Deutsche Post also introduced an app for the secure sending of messages.
