T-Mobile unveils SyncUp Drive platform for connected cars

T-Mobile unveiled T-Mobile SyncUp Drive, an all-in-one LTE connected car platform that transforms cars into rolling Wi-Fi hotspots and gives drivers extensive added vehicle diagnostics, safety and security features. Developed by T-Mobile together with ZTE and Mojio, T-Mobile SyncUp Drive plugs into a car's OBD-II (on-board diagnostics) port, doesn't require charging and can be managed right from a smartphone. Starting from 18 November, one can get T-Mobile SyncUp Drive, normally a USD 149.99 value, at no extra cost after a 24-month no-cost finance agreement with a 2GB or higher mobile internet plan.
