Telstra launches driverless car trial with NSW govt
Australian operator Telstra's has joined forces with the NSW Government and a host of partners to launch the NSW's first trial of a driverless vehicle in Sydney Olympic Park. The trial will run over a 2-year period. 

According to Telstra, the trial will showcase how the transport industry will be shaped with the advances in automation technology and the IoT. The trial aims to find the best ways to harness the next generation of driverless technology and continue to improve safety and reliability for transport customers and road users in NSW. The NSW Government expects office workers at Sydney Olympic Park to be using the automated shuttle by next year.
