'Toyota koopt robotics-onderdelen Alphabet'

Toyota Motor Corporation is in gesprek met Alphabet in gesprek over de overname van twee robotics-onderdelen van het internetbedrijf. Dat schrijft althans Nikkei op basis van bronnen die bekend zijn met de plannen. Volgens de bronnen gaat het om Alphabet's Boston Dynamics, maker van de robot Cheetah, en robotics-bedrijf Schaft, een spin-off van de Universiteit van Tokyo. Toyota wilde tegenover Nikkei niet reageren op de geruchten.
