Virgin Media reaches one million TiVo customers
Virgin Media has reached the milestone of one million TiVo customers. The 'winning' customers were given a gold TiVo box and a new HD Ready 3D TV. Virgin Media's executive director of digital entertainment, Cindy Rose, said it was a huge milestone for the company to reach one million TiVo customers in such a short time.

Tivo sees losses continuing on litigation costs

Tivo reported results for the fiscal second quarter to July in line with its earlier guidance. Service and technology revenues rose 10 percent year-on-year to USD 54.1 million, versus guidance of USD 53-55 million. The net loss widened to USD 27.7 million from USD 19.6 million a year ago, but was in line with the forecast USD 28-30 million. Virgin Media superfast broadband customers reach 1.3 mln

Virgin Media has reported revenue of GBP 2.03 billion for the six months ending 30 June, up 3.3 percent, with Q2 revenue up 4.2 percent to GBP 1.03 billion. Operating income was up 26 percent to GBP 311 million for the six months, and up 33 percent to GBP 180 million for the second quarter. Virgin Media set to launch new TiVo ad campaign

Virgin Media is set to launch a multi-million pound ad campaign to promote the company's TiVo service. The campaign will star Stephen Fry and Sir Richard Branson and will launch on primetime ITV1 on Saturday 14 July. Two separate ads will be used to promote different aspects of the service. Virgin Media has launched a new Teletext Holidays app for its TiVo service. The app marks the return of the Teletext brand to TVs, with a new look and 'connected devices' design for Virgin customers.
