Vodafone Group has appointed Barbara Haase as group brand director, effective 1 October. She will report to the Vodafone Group chief commercial officer Morten Lundal. Haase is currently managing director and partner of Brand Plantation. She was previously the global head of marketing communications and brand for Mini with BMW Group and the head of marketing and sales responsible for the development of BMW Group's 'i' sub-brand. From 2003 to 2008, Haase was head of marketing communications and brand at Vodafone Germany, where her achievements included the integration of the Arcor brand into Vodafone. She is a former director and vice president of marketing communications for Europe with Sony.
