Vodafone M&A chief Finegold to retire in June
Vodafone announced that Warren Finegold, its Group Business Development Director, will retire at the end of June. He will continue to act as an adviser to Vodafone’s Board and Executive Committee on future strategic projects from July. 

Finegold joined the Executive Committee in April 2006 and led major projects such as the sale of Vodafone's stake in Verizon Wireless, the acquisitions of Kabel Deutschland and Ono and the acquisition of Hutchison’s interest in India. Before joining Vodafone, he worked on technology M&A at investment bank UBS, including helping run Vodafone's IPO in 1988 and its acquisition of Mannesmann. Vodafone did not announce a successor for Finegold.

Vodafone hires Dell EMC exec to lead enterprise unit

Vodafone Group announced the appointment of Brian Humphries as Group Enterprise Director. He will oversee the group's enterprise business across Vodafone's local markets and internationally. Humphries comes from Dell EMC, where he is currently Chief Operating Officer of the Infrastructure Solutions Group.

Vodafone promotes AMAP head to commercial, strategy chief

Vodafone Group announced the appointment of Serpil Timuray as Chief Commercial Operations and Strategy Officer and the appointment of Vivek Badrinath as Timuray's successor as Chief Executive for the Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific (AMAP) region. The appointments are effective 15 October.

Vodafone organic growth accelerates to 2.5% in Q4

Vodafone reported a drop in results for its fiscal year to March, but said underlying trends in revenue and profit were improving. Group revenue for the year dropped 3.0 percent to GBP 41.0 billion, hurt by foreign exchange rate movements, and EBITDA was down 2.5 percent to GBP 11.6 billion. On an organic basis, service revenue returned to growth of 1.5 percent, with a gradual improvement over the year to growth of 2.5 percent in the final quarter. Vodafone Group appoints global business development exec

Vodafone Group announces that Warren Finegold will be joining the Group as Chief Executive, Global Business Development by the end of April. Mr Finegold (48) is currently a Managing Director of UBS Investment Bank and Head of its Technology team in Europe. He will join the Group Executive Committee and will be responsible for Business Development, M&A and Partner Networks.
