Vodafone Malta changes name to Epic
Vodafone Malta changed its name to Epic after being acquired by Monaco Telecom earlier in 2020. CEO Tamas Banyai promised no disruption for existing customers and job security for employees during the official launch of the new brand, writes the Times of Malta. 

He said the company was rolling out new packages that would be a first for the island. The company announced on its web page that customers will need to download its new app to top-up, buy a bundle and manage their account online.

The company already uses the Epic brand name in Cyprus, where it acquired MTN's operations.

Monaco Telecom announced it appointed Juanito Camilleri as non-executive chairperson of its recently acquired Vodafone Malta, MaltaToday.com writes citing the company. Monaco Telecom completed the acquisition of Vodafone Malta on 31 March. The company will continue operating under the Vodafone brand for a transition period.
