Vodafone UK has signed up 500,000 customers on its Red 4G plans, six months after launch. Vodafone's 4G customers used 300 TB of data in December 2013. The 4G network cover 36 percent of the UK population, with Vodafone targeting indoor 4G coverage of 98 percent of the UK population by 2015. Ultrafast 4G is rolling out in 208 cities, towns and districts across the country. The rollout of ultrafast 4G services is part of more than GBP 900 million Vodafone is spending on its UK network in 2014.
