
In a traditionally quiet third quarter, Ziggo has among all telecom and internet providers put up the highest budget for the promotion of services to the business market. T-Mobile Netherlands meanwhile did not conduct any campaigns aimed at business users in the quarter, according to an analysis by Telecompaper of the gross advertising expenditure of operators for the business market.
Ziggo spent almost EUR 900,000 on promotions for the business market in Q3. Telfort and KPN came in second and third place in terms of media spending, with amounts at EUR 600,000-700,000.
The business media budget of Ziggo and Telfort went entirely to radio commercials, while at KPN, this made up less than 1 percent of campaign expenses. KPN spent most of its budget on outdoor advertising.
