ZTE to present first smartwatch, new phones at CES
ZTE will unveil new smartphones and its first smartwatch at CES in Las Vegas. The BlueWatch targets the fitness market, offering features such as a pedometer and recording of other physical activity and health measurements. The device connects to a smartphone over Bluetooth, allowing users also to check for incoming calls and messages on the device.

The new smartphones include the Grand S II, the latest device in its high-end range, which features a number of new voice control and audio options.

ZTE will also present the nubia 5S and nubia 5S mini smartphones, with Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processors and the latest photo equipment. The larger nubia 5S features a five-inch Sharp 1080p FHD display and a 13 MP camera with Sony RS sensor, DSLR-like photo options and 4K Ultra HD video capture. The nubia 5S mini features a 4.7-inch Sharp IGZO display and comes in a range of colours.

Other new devices include the Iconic Phablet, with a 5.7-inch display, quad-core processor and wireless charging, and the Projector Hotspot, a device that works both as a mini projector and a Wi-Fi hotspot router serving up to eight devices.

For AT&T's brand Aio Wireless, ZTE is introducing the Sonata 4G. The low-end smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.4 GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM, as well as a 5 MP camera, 4-inch display and a 1780mAh battery.

ZTE also is working with AT&T to develop the AT&T Wireless Home Base device, which allows users to connect their home telephone to the AT&T wireless network and receive unlimited local and long-distance calls for USD 20 per month. No telephone jack is required; the ZTE device can be plugged into any electrical outlet.
