From March 3 to 6, 2025, the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the largest global event in mobile connectivity, will take place in Barcelona. This year marks a special occasion: for the ninth time, Ecosystem Services is organizing the Dutch pavilion, which has once again been designated as a strategic trade fair by the Top Sector ICT.
The Dutch pavilion, located between Hall 4 and Hall 5 (stand CS54), serves as a central meeting point for companies, startups, and other partners in the technology sector. This initiative provides Dutch companies with an international platform and fosters collaboration within a global ecosystem.
Strong representation at the Pavilion
The pavilion hosts a diverse group of Dutch companies and organizations showcasing innovative solutions in areas such as networking, cybersecurity, sustainable technology, and more. Exhibitors include:
- Broadforward
- Future Network Services
- Eurofiber
- Spie
- FiberUnlimited
- ChatLicense
- Future Connections
- Netmore
- Channel Services
- CM.com
- Fairphone
- Sectra
- Q*Bird
- Sunled
Additionally, various pavilion partners, such as Techbinder (winner of the Telecom Paper Innovation Award) and LiveDrop (alongside DataMonk, co-winner of the TSOC pitch event), Smartphotonics, and Sound, are also participating.
These organizations demonstrate how the Netherlands contributes to shaping the future with technologies ranging from IoT and security to 6G, sustainable hardware, and advanced digital infrastructures. Several of these organizations will also participate in the new "scale-up" location as part of the NL pavilion.
Startups in the Spotlight at 4YFN
In addition to the pavilion, the Netherlands will also be represented at 4YFN (Four Years From Now) in Hall 8, MWC’s startup platform. Under the leadership of Innovation Quarter, innovative Dutch startups will showcase their solutions. This platform offers startups a unique opportunity to connect with investors, partners, and customers and to present their innovations on a global stage.
Knowledge Missions on Government and Innovation, Sustainability, and Private Networks for Mainports
This year, Ecosystem Services, in collaboration with experts such as Tieneke Breemhaar (WaytoSustain) and Koen Mioulet (UlWiMo), is organizing three knowledge missions:
- Government & Innovation Knowledge Mission
- Sustainability Knowledge Mission in collaboration with Tieneke Breemhaar
- Private Networks Knowledge Mission in collaboration with Koen Mioulet
Each mission spans three days at the trade fair, providing insights into global trends and highlights on themes such as (private) 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial transformation, and sustainable innovation. These themes align seamlessly with the mission of the Dutch pavilion: promoting technological progress and international collaboration. Powering a Connected Future Together!
A Strategic Presence
With over 100,000 visitors from more than 200 countries and over 2,000 exhibitors, MWC is the place to create global business opportunities. The Netherlands’ presence underscores the importance of this trade fair for the sector. Daily activities and presentations at the pavilion will support Dutch businesses in their international ambitions.
More information about the Dutch program can be found on the official NL MWC website.
