Optimum near deal to hand company to creditors - report
Optimum Communications, the US cable operator previously known as Altice USA, is nearing a debt restructuring deal that would hand control of the company to its lenders and resolve ongoing litigation between them, the Wall Street Journal reported. According to unnamed people familiar with the matter, the proposed transaction would cede equity to lenders, including Apollo Global Management, Oaktree Capital Management and JPMorgan Chase. Negotiations are ongoing and the final terms could change, they said.
