Italian police take down EUR 300 mln cross-border pirate streaming operation

Italy's Guardia di Finanza financial police said they have coordinated raids across several countries to dismantle major streaming piracy operation that caused around EUR 300 million in damages to rights holders including Sky, Dazn, Netflix, Disney+ and Spotify. The operation, coordinated by the local Guardia di Finanza in Ravenna and prosecutors in Bologna with support from Eurojust, involved raids in Italy as well as parallel actions in France and Germany.
