MasOrange to provide network services to Spanish utility Audax

Spanish energy company Audax has signed an agreement with MasOrange to provide mobile, fibre and landline services throughout the country, reports business daily Expansion, citing Audax CEO Óscar Santos. Under the MVNO deal, Audax intends to combine energy and telecommunications services in an integrated offering that will allow customers to save money and better manage their utilities, said the report.

VFN Holdings (Vero Fiber), US fibre infrastructure provider, has increased an existing credit facility from USD 310 million to USD 425 million. The facility is expandable up to USD 585 million through an accordion feature, and will be used to further expands its FTTP and dark fibre networks. The funds will also be used to support the acquisition of Telephone Electronics (TEC). Vero Fiber's network is now operational in 334 markets across 25 US states.

Polish operator Polkomtel, trading under the Plus brand, has made several management changes in its marketing and B2C units, reports Wirtualnemedia citing a letter to employees. Marketing is now a standalone unit, lead by Karina Jakobiak-Kapusta, with Anna Paczuska as the deputy head. Jakobiak-Kapusta was previously the deputy director of marketing and communication at Polkomtel's parent company, the Polsat Plus Group.
