The Nigerian ICT ministry has partnered with Meta, the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme and Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN) to launch an artificial intelligence academy. Meta said the AI Academy will bring participants from fundamental AI awareness to advanced, practical application. It will provide hands-on training, technical mentorship and commercialisation opportunities for local AI services.

Bezeq Israel Telecom has raised its full-year 2026 financial forecast, pointing to stronger operational momentum across its business units. Telekom Slovenije shareholders approved at the annual meeting the payout of EUR 28.9 million in dividend out of a total of EUR 53.5 million of profit for 2025. Revenues of Polish local ISP Fibo, previously known as DG-Net and working in the Silesia region, totaled PLN 6.337 million in the second quarter of this year, up by 11.7 percent year-on-year. EBITDA rose to PLN 866,226 from PLN 864,300, while the net loss was PLN 45,358 against a net profit at PLN 90,175 in the year-earlier period. The ISP connected 308 new residential subscribers and 44 new B2B customers. Fibo said it also connected to internet services 363 new shops of the retail chain Zabka.

​Poland's Polsat Plus Group said its revenues increased by 2.9 percent year-on-year to PLN 3.694 billion in the second quarter of this year.
