Frogfoot launches ZAR 399 fibre tier for low income suburbs

Open-access fibre provider Frogfoot has launched 'Leap', a new prepaid product offering affordable, contract-free home internet in lower and lower-middle-income suburbs, MyBroadband reported. Roll-out started in Lotus Gardens, a diverse township in western Pretoria. According to Stats SA data, median household incomes in the area range from ZAR 3,000 to ZAR 13,000 per month, with a high-income segment lifting the overall average to around ZAR 19,200 monthly.
