Virgin Media O2 loses 29,200 consumer fixed-line customers in Q2
Virgin Media O2 saw its total consumer fixed-line customer base fall by 29,900 in Q2 2026 to reach 5.5 million, compared to net additions of 23,000 in the year-earlier quarter. Consumer fixed ARPU was down 4.6 percent to GBP 46.56, reflecting intense competition in the UK broadband market. Consumer broadband net losses were 28,200 in Q2, compared to losses of 53,500 in Q2 2025, to reach 5.41 million consumer broadband connections.
