Dutch incumbent KPN launched a marketing campaign called Goeie Deals XL (Good Deals) in early July 2011. This research brief examines how the deal for interactive TV in a triple-play (broadband, TV, fixed telephony) package, offering a 50 percent discount on the monthly fee for twelve months, compares to similar offerings from KPN's three main competitors: Ziggo, UPC Netherlands and Tele2 Netherlands. The comparison shows that the average monthly costs for a Tele2 triple play package are the lowest, with KPN closely following.
