This chart shows to which degree consumers agree with eleven statements concerning the failure of mobile internet. The question asked was: "Imagine that you cannot use mobile internet for a few days due to reasons outside your control. Below a few statements on this. Can you indicate to which degree you agree with these statements?". The answer possibilities were: totally agree; agree; neither agree, nor disagree; disagree; totally disagree. Those who did not have an opinion are excluded from the results. The following statements were included: I would be annoyed, but would understand that these things can happen; I would expect to be compensated after the failure (compensation in different forms); I would expect to receive financial compensation for the failure; If the failure affected only a certain type of handset, I would not choose this type at my next purchase; If the failure affected only a specific handset type, I would discourage others to use this brand; If the failure was associated with the network of my provider, I would choose a different network and so a different provider in the future; No problem, I can go without mobile internet for a few days and could use other means like Wi-Fi or fixed internet; Such a failure would have a very big impact on my private life; Such a failure would seriously disrupt my work; The failure would make me realise how important mobile internet is for me and would make me willing to spend more next time on a reliable handset; The failure would make me realise how important mobile internet is for me and would make me willing next time to spend more on a reliable network.
