Telfort set to secure its position in the Dutch Mobile Market
Telfort, the independent mobile network operator in the Netherlands, is proving to have a right to exist. Although measured in growth of the number of subscribers in the last quarter Telfort comes in fourth place on the Dutch market, its new ESP/MVNO deals with ID&T, Versatel and Albert Heijn look promising. Especially with the marketing power of Albert Heijn as largest grocery chain in the Netherlands, Telfort is about to win a large number of customers. And although Telfort’s mobile aspirations were scaled down with the separation from mmO2, Telfort is not sitting around doing nothing regarding international mobile alliances, and Telfort is still looking into new developments like EDGE.
